  • Hi Jixxer,

Have you tried going to the EDD > Categories and manually deleting?

    Hope that helps ??

    Hey there,

Are you referring to the User Roles? If so, these are stored in the main WordPress database and so they exist even after the plugin that created them is un-installed. If you have users that have a User Role assigned, they will remain having that as their role.

There are ways to change your user’s roles and then delete a user role. If you have changed the roles of all your users and wish to delete an empty User Role, you may find this plugin to be of help:

Thanks. I had put in EDD and never assigned any of the roles and then quickly uninstalled. Then I was left with the 4 remnant roles that EDD installed. But that plugin worked great and removed them all very quickly. Perfect. Problem solved. Thank you!
