• I am currently using WordPress 2.33.
Every time, I try to make a post using the words (Select, Union, Delete), the page crashes and goes to a blank screen.

Was thinking this might be because wordpress is thinking these are SQL statements. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this.

    Thank you.

  • youre sorta close, thats prol’ly mod_security.

Find out if your host is running it, and if so what version. Once you know that, you can either disable it sitewide, disable it for just the admin area, disable it just when you post, or make your own rules.

Thank ya. I checked with the manager of the server and he said mod_security wasn’t on.

Do you know of anything else that might be causing things?

Okay. Forgive my noobness , where is mod_security located.

if you were told by someone ‘in the know’ that it wasnt being used, where it is doesnt matter.

Fwiw, mod_security is an Apache module, and as such, is typically ‘located’ inside the modules directory
