Images blurry on iPads

Can you get them to narrow down what they’re referring to? I.e. a specific image on a specific page

The issue is apparently with all images on the site but the post that triggered complaints is this one:

Maybe they were referring to images that were actually blurry https://www.morapandorablog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/pandora-spring-2016-forget-me-not.jpg

No, I’m aware that that one is blurry (they are not pictures I’ve taken)! Apparently images like this one are blurry on the page but fine when you click them

I cannot emulate the issue. Maybe they’re just being subjective with their opinion on what is a blurry image and what isn’t. It would be great for people to provide a screenshot of the issue

I tried to emulate the issue in the “Apple iPad” option as provided by Chrome’s developer tools. It doesn’t say which version unfortunately

Thanks, I just tried that as well and can’t replicate it either. :/ I will try and borrow someone’s ipad and post better screenshots of the issue.

Do you know which browser the issue occurs in too?

That’s a good point. The browser seems to be Safari at the moment but I’ll ask people to try chrome and see if the issue is replicated there.

Just in case anyone else finds this thread and has the same problem – I fixed it last night.

It was an issue with the Responsive Images functionality in WordPress 4.4. I don’t know why it caused the issues with my website in particular, but disabling it has stopped images appearing blurred on iPad retina screens.

The plug-in I used to disable it is here:
