• I migrated a site from one web host to another and now that I have it running on the new host I am getting an error. When you click on an image thumbnail to bring up the larger version, you get the error message “The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.” I have verified that it works on the old host.

Plugins are Faster Pagination, Media File Renamer, Ninja Forms, Regenerate Thumbnails, Under Construction / Maintenance Mode From Acura, W3 Total Cache, Watermark, and WP Content Copy Protection.

One thing to note as well is the W3 Total Cache plugin is being used and it is throwing an error as well. I don’t think it is related but it is there.

FTP credentials don’t allow to write to file /.htaccess
W3 Total Cache Error: Files and directories could not be automatically created to complete the installation.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes. I completed the first two sections, Moving to a New Server and Keeping Your Domain Name and URLs, and the site works great other than the issue I noted above.

I have narrowed it down to the Watermark plugin. Disabling that allows the images to appear.

them my suggestion is to delete this plugin and find a better one.

Because this plugin is not up to date. Anote et this plugin’s page indicates : “Compatible up to: 4.1.9”

Also, my suggestion would to update your WP to the latest 4.4.1, which is a security release for all previous versions.

That’s fine however it doesn’t explain why it isn’t working now. They old server has all the same versions and it works there.
