I’m running an e-commerce clothing brand using woocommerce and sometimes after customers place an order, they want to change a size of an item or a color, or want to change their shipping address… I can’t seem to find a way to edit and update the order items section of a customer order. I have the print invoices and packing slips extension…but that doesn’t allow me to change anything about the actual order itself. Are there any solutions you can think of? Have you seen this kind of problem before? I tried searching for extensions to make this possible but couldn’t find anything. All help is appreciated!

If the order is paid, line items cannot be edited. Set the order pending to edit.

Oh awesome. That works. Just a follow up question…say the customer’s order status is “in production”, which automatically sends an order update email to the customer notifying them of that new status. When I switch that customer’s order from “in production” to “pending payment” they aren’t notified…but when I switch the status back from “pending payment” to “in production” will they receive the in production email update again?

    Yes they will.

    Hello sir,
I set order pending in admin and looked /my-account/orders/. But there are only “Pay”, “View”, “Cancel” options on each order. I can’t edit the order.
    Please help me!
