"Edit" option appears in body of Published Page

  • Hello! I am trying to create a unique thank you page for a WP website and everytime I make a new page and view in preview/published it contains a hyperlinked “Edit” in the body copy that enables anyone to edit the page.I would love to know if anyone knows how to disable this feature/plugin/whatever it is. Thank you!

    Are you sure that this “edit” link is visible for anyone?
    Try to see that same page but logout first.

    Let me know if it helps!

    May only you are seeing it, try to logout and view the page. Once logged out if you can’t see the edit page rest assured no one will.
