Emails people when you reply to their comment! Plus thread the comments!

    This is one of the best plugins out there! It threads your comments for you (like Brian’s Threaded Comments) BUT THE BEST THING IT DOES.. it emails the person whose comment you are replying to. It really keeps the conversations going and draws people back to your site.

    “Subscribe to comments” is no good as it emails people whenever anyone in a post comments. This one only emails them when their specific comment is replied to (by you the author for example or someone else). Much better logic and keeps people subscribed instead of having them unsubscribe due to to many irrelevant emails.

    Now if I could get this to work with an Admin Reply to Comments Plugin and have it still email the person, that would be phenomenal. Right now it works with Absolute Comments for example.. but the emails don’t go out alerting the commenter you are replying.

    This is indeed a good option, but is there an unsubscribe option? Otherwise this might get annoying…

    the subscribe option is not open to the public. it’s for you, the admin, to choose whether you want all commenters to subscribe or to unsubscribe.

    not very useful in that sense.
