there must be some other script interfering.
Try creating a normal shortcode on a test page and see if you can get it to work there.
We can verify that the collapse elements DO work on mobile, so you will have to trouble shoot the cause on your system by staring simple.

This is a straight up, default page with nothing else on it. The trigger text doesn’t work in the default iOS Safari browser here either.

I had a friend try both the first URL I posted and this test page using iOS Chrome on his mobile devices. Neither page works for him in Chrome. They don’t work for him in iOS Safari either. But, iOS Firefox does seem to work.

Another friend on an Android phone running Firefox and Chrome reported success with both pages.

    Mystery!

what css are you using to de-activate the pointer cursor?
try a plain shortcode example with no extra attributes or custom css classes.

You mean to prevent the mouse pointer from turning to a hand, like when hovering over a regular link? I’m not using any CSS to do that–I thought that was how your plugin behaved natively. No other links on my website behave that way.

The code on the test page is a plain example:

[expand title="Test Collapse Trigger"]Bacon ipsum dolor amet tongue bacon frankfurter beef ribs shank meatball shankle andouille turkey pork chop alcatra. Turducken filet mignon pig doner, frankfurter beef short ribs shankle ground round biltong pork chop pork belly chuck tail. Shankle turkey ham alcatra. Ribeye pork belly tail, picanha kevin kielbasa shankle frankfurter chuck short ribs ball tip cow beef. Ham turkey salami, tri-tip alcatra t-bone tenderloin sirloin turducken ham hock flank. Landjaeger alcatra hamburger brisket turducken, porchetta tri-tip t-bone andouille strip steak tenderloin. Jerky kielbasa t-bone drumstick pork belly.[/expand]

    ok, two things.
    1. try de-activating the wp-spamshield plugin, as it is throwing a JS error on your page.
    2. make sure you are loading the CSS in the settings page (dark or light, not none)

    Thread Starter Iron Dragon

    (@sakaane)

    1. What JS error? Where are you seeing this? I’ve accessed both pages with Chrome and IE from my office desktop computer and do not see any errors. None display on my mobile either. No one else I have asked can see any errors on their mobiles or desktops either.

    2. I will try this when I get home.

chrome right click > inspect > console:
jscripts-ftr-min.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: t[s].indexOf is not a function

I changed the settings to Dark and it appears to be working now.

Thanks for the note about the spamshield error; I will pass that on to that plugin author. I didn’t disable the plugin so there doesn’t seem to be a conflict there.

    Thank you for your help!

Glad you got it sussed out! Issue marked as resolved.

Hi! I just wanted to say that changing the Style from None to Dark or Light worked for me! Thank you!
