Installing 2 blogs in same web site

    If I want to have 2 different WP blogs for different audiences on the same web site do I install the software twice and just use different directories?

    You can install in the same database as long as you give them different prefixes. Instead of the default wp_ database table prefix, use b1_ and b2_ for each blog. That should work.

    you could use wordpress mu (mu.www.remarpro.com)
    it lets you install multiple blogs in the same database.

    instead of going through the install process each time you want to create a wordpress blog, all you have to do with mu is type the name of the blog and the blog title.
