Posts being "protected" by default

Hi Folks,

For whatever reason only my posts (default CPT) is not accessible to the pubic / is members only. All of my other CPTs are not like this (unless I apply it on a per-page basis). My UM settings are set to display content publicly, etc. I tried commenting out all of my functions.php, disabled all other plugins, etc. This is also then doing the same thing to my rss feeds. Any thoughts as to why my posts are being forced to members only? Am I missing a setting somewhere?
