Javascript Style Issue on Homepage (Revolution Slider & Product Slider)
-
Hi,
We are having a problem with our home page that seems very inconsistent. We currently have a Revolution Slider with a product slider shortcode provided by our theme. However these run absolutely fine for a little while and then all of a sudden the revolution slider changes into a thin grey rectangle and the product slider stops working and all the products go into two lines. Please see my screenshots (https://imgur.com/a/3ExYz) which should explain the issue better, as you can see one of the screenshots has two working sliders and the other is when the javascript seems to go wrong.
This has only became a problem very recently with our website, probably since the 4.4.1 and my latest theme update, we’ve also recently done a restore of our site after an issue that occurred so I’m not sure what is causing the problem. Another big possibility is that is could be something to do with our W3 Total Cache plugin which is doing it, however I’m not sure which setting it could be.
I have been in contact with my theme developer about this and they have asked me to set up a test page with both sliders for them to test, weirdly though this test page seems to be fine and the issue hasn’t replicated on this page for some reason. I have also changed the slider from a Revolution slider to a different type of slider whilst we work out the issue and since doing that the home page has worked fine, however has been running much slower.
The website domain is- https://www.ribbonsdirect.co.uk if you’d like to have a look, but if someone could give me any idea on what might be going wrong, that’d be great. Thanks in advance.
