It has to do with the Calculator

    Hi there,

Sorry it broke stuff. I have been running the dev version for weeks to ensure it kept working.

Can I ask you to please send a screen shot of your calculation config so I can at least try replicate the problem.

in the last 1300 updates done, there have only been 2 reports of a calculation issue happening, so I’m hoping that its a small config issue that I can fix quickly.

I would really appreciate your help on this as it’s very difficult to replicate thousands of use case examples.

    Many thanks!

Actually, could you rather email me on [email protected]

I would prefer to connect directly to try sort the issue out as quickly as possible.

    thanks!

yes of course. I send you an email

I also had a problem with calculations after last update (specifically, calculations were simply not working, everything else ok). I solved it by simply downgrading to the last previous version (1.3.1.2 – see development branch in repository), and my form works again without changing anything. Devs know about this issue and I am sure they will solve it asap, as always.

same problem here. the calculation is not working anymore. how do i downgrade your plug in?

Oga23, you go to Developers Tab, choose any previous version (in our case 1.3.1.2), clicking will prompt to save that plugin version as zip file, then manually install. Of course, first delete version 1.3.2.

    thank you, bsusala.
now, the problem i have is, i dont really know, how to do all that ??
    where is the developers tab?
and how do you mean first delete 1.3.2 – if i do that i will lose all the forms or not?
    sorry, i know, i am a noob ??

ok, found the developers tab ??

how do i delete the 1.3.2 version? and how do i do that without losing all the forms i have build to date? thank you so much for your time and help.

    Okay ??

I am not sure if deleting will deleting also the form (you can test for yourself), but in any case you can export your form (hover over the name of form and you will see), and then deactivate 1.3.2, then delete 1.3.2, then manual install 1.3.1.2, then import form.

    you saved my life ??
    thank you.
now we know that if you delete the plugin and manually install the older version, the forms are where they supposed to be.

exactly! none of my plugins will ever delete stuff it makes. I feel its just wrong. However, I should make an option to do that. hmm.)

I’m working on this issue btw and will have it solved ASAP!

I updated this plugin this morning and it had an error and wouldn’t update. Now the Plugin is gone. I have over 700 pages with forms on them. I can’t reinstall the plugin. I get this error when I try.

    “Destination folder already exists. C:/xampp/htdocs/AddictionNoMore/wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms/

    Plugin install failed.”

I am building this site offline in a local host.

What do I do? It is not in my plugin list to uninstall, and it does not come up on my pages like it did before.

    Freaking out.
    Please help.

@velvet try to rename the caldera-forms plugin directory, and then reinstall. CalderaWP should recognize old forms in the new install (it stores them in the database).

If all ok, then you can safely delete the renamed old plugin directory.
