My site thestorybazaar.com has stats on WordPress using Jetpack by WordPress. However, the numbers are often, quite demonstrably, incorrect. So, I can add together the number of visitors per day for seven days ( Mon to Sunday )but find that that number is much higher then the number of visitors shown as visiting that week. This discrepancy then feeds through to the monthly stats too.

Often I see, say, three visitors on a given morning, but the country identifier shows, say, five different countries, and from across the globe. Now I know it’s possible for someone in, say, the US to be using an IP address based in Brazil, but that this individual has two IP addresses, one in Brazil and one in the US is a little far fetched.

Are other people having this problem?
