    Hi, I’ve been using (well, using is strongly said – I rate stuff I like) an old account the past couple of months.
    Today I logged in and saw that I can’t post reviews, I can’t edit my profile – I can’t do anything.
    Not sure who to turn to, but I hope to get some support about this issue.

    *Looks, Ah. One of those accounts.*

    That account and the others will remain blocked. That account participated in posting the same 5 star reviews for the same plugins.

    Moderators really do not like seeing sock puppet reviews and the plugin author is about to get a reminder about that.

    Sock Puppetry Is Not Welcome

    Repeatedly doing that can get that author’s plugins removed from the WordPress repo permanently.

    You can use this account for now but please refrain from that behavior again.

    Oh I see. I wasn’t aware of this. It’s just that I’ve been using those plugins for quite some time – even before they got in the repository ( you can say I’ve been testing them, since they did such great job for me…).

    So if I understand correctly, it was because I gave 5 star reviews to the plugins. If those were 4 star reviews, they wouldn’t have been removed?

    It’s kind of funny don’t you think? I’m not sure who else reviewed these plugins with 5 stars when you say ‘others will remain blocked’, but I assure you, those reviews were given because of the quality of the plugins themselves – not because I want to mislead anybody.

    I appreciate the time.

    Anyway, I understood why it was mistaken as sock puppetting.

    I just tried to clarify that it wasn’t. Didn’t mean to argue or anything.
    I will leave reviews for the plugins I’ve used in the past and hopefully this time my reviews won’t be deleted.
