Showing posts from certain categories on home page

Hey everyone,

Currently my home page displayed the latest posts from any category, but what I would like it to do is to keep doing this but to highlight posts froma certain cetegory slightly differently.

i.e, if the post is from the web Design category, to show the snippet on the home page with a different css class.

ie, if ENTRY is from blog then class=”webdesign” or if ENTRY is from links then class=”links”

is this possible?

If anyone has any spare time, can they point me in the right direction of some pre-written code as this would be beyond my php abilities..
