Images not showing, only filenames

Hi
Installed NextGen Pro and hated it so removed it Then Envira Gallery which would not display the image so un installed that as well. Now just using media gallery I can’t get the images to display in post, projects etc. All I get is a box and filename

I have tried clearing folders and files viaFTP. changing settings i.e. to create date folders or not, I have restarted the server, but nothing so far has worked
Caveat!
All original migrated images from .com are loading fine its only images I am uploading now that are affected.

As I am a photographer this is quite urgent!
