• For ages i have been using the Yith filter. Its been a huge pain in the arse because it allows filters to be crawled… so my server was constantly going bezerk with google trying to index literally hundreds of thousands of option combinations.

Why do this? Why build a plugin in this stupid way?

To force people to buy the $69, single user option where you can turn off crawling of filters. As if that should be paid functionality! Its bloody essential unless you want your site to crap out from spiders going bezerk on it.

Don’t do it people. The free Woof woocommerce filter is was better, and their $20 multi use plugin totally craps all over this rubbish.

It has a central admin for filter creation, a single widget, heaps more options, including a search, search by sku, images for colours(so you could have say… polkadots as a color!)

And best of all, its far lighter on your server and better for SEO.
