Header image not displaying on mobile devices

  • Hi,

    The header is not displaying properly on mobile devices. It’s cut off on either side. I sized it based on the suggested dimensions. Everything else is resized, just not the header.

  • The custom header is implemented as a background image in this theme. For that reason it’s best suited to images that don’t require precise cropping, like an abstract or patterned image, as it will be cropped on small screens.

    The custom header in Apostrophe is designed to work well with the Site Logo, which overlays on top of the custom header. You can access the Site Logo in the Customizer with the Jetpack plugin active. The Site Logo scales proportionately to all sizes.
