display_name not working anymore after latest upgrade

  • After the latest updade user display name is not displayed anywhere in my site i.e menu shortcode display_name in Menu only printing {display_name}. In members directory no display name is shown under the profile picture. Also in the comment section comment author name is not displayed anymore. In User profile page also display name and status field is shown blank.

  • The display name has been removed from the most recent update and replaced with a nickname field. Just update your forms with a new nickname field where the display name was.
