Random photos in sidebar

  • I want something very simple…

    From all of the photos in my wordpress media library
    five random photos
    in the sidebar
    of a width I choose

    This seems SO simple… but I can’t seem to figure out how to plop a dozen lines of codes into a widget and make it happen.

    If you’re going to point me at plugins… I’ve tried several… and something about my blog templates (I use one called “cute frames”) makes the first picture show up, then a HUGE gap, then the rest… and I figured it would be easier to just try to code something myself, since I don’t want anything fancy…
