No Place to place tags on posts

No, there isn’t in WP 2.0.11, which is your stated version. Unless you have/had a plugin for that. Check if the plugin is active.

On the other hand, you could upgrade to the latest and have WP’s built-in tagging function.

Not real familiar with how this forum works I inadvertently posted the wrong version. I am using ver. 2.2.2 and as I said, I believe it was there before, altho no tags on any of the posts now.
Does that make any difference to you answer above?

2.3 is when tags were made part of the core WordPress tools. Before that it would have to have been a plugin.

To see all topics on the forum you have started or replied to, click “View your profile” at the very top of each support forum page and scroll down to User Activity.

I would upgrade, but I do not understand the directions to do so. (DO not remember -at this time- what I got stuck on.
May I ask what Plugin here or should I start another thread?

There are several possibilities, so we wouldn’t be able to tell you *which* one considering you recall previously having the ability to add them before.

First, have you at all checked your Plugins listings in your setup to see if you might already have a tagging plugin but just not activated (for whatever reason).

Second, you can look through the plugins listed here:
