Wordfence fiends but does not delete viagra post

  • I’m not sure I follow so correct me if I’m wrong. Are you saying the post has been injected into wp_wfHits? Could you not just delete the entry out of wp_wfHits? Do you have a backup so you can restore the site to a time before the attack?

    Thanks for the swift response.
    I assumed that wfHits ware the “hits” wordfence had. (the pieces of malicious code/links it found.) So I figured Wordfence did detect the spam but did not remove it.

    Unfortunately I was brought in after the attack so I have no backups of an earlier stage.
    Since my post I also deleted the entry out of wfHits but to no avail.

    Could you please explain me wfHits a little? Because after your post I feel I got it wrong.

    Hi Jason,

    The wfHits table is where “Live Traffic” data is stored. So the hits are visits to the site. This page explains everything displayed on Live Traffic:

    Have you tried running another Wordfence scan?
