Adding Permalink and Caption to Featured Image in Shortcodes

  • Hi guys.

    Hoping somebody can help out here, been trying to get something to work for a while now too no avail. ??

    I have a function in shortcode to import a posts featured image into a post, however im also trying to get the image caption and post permalink to come through with the image via the shortcode.

    Anybody know if this is possible or able to advise how to???
