Since upgrading this morning from CSV Import v 3.0.5 to 3.1.1 we can no longer run our daily import (price update).
The format of our source CSV import file has not changed in months.

    Config:
    WP 4.4
    WC 2.4.12
    Apache 2.4.7
    PHP 5.5.9
Disabled all plugins except Woocommerce and Woocommerce CSV Import
    Enabled Debug

Tried just with a two line import CSV of sku and regular_price (header + 1 data row)
Import preview works (although I note that Row1 now shows header line data even though “skip the first row” is set to yes)
But Pressing Start button goes straight to Previous Batches screen but with no attempt to load a new batch.
I also tried regenerating the header. Made no difference.

    no entries in JavaScript console
    Nothing in server error_log

I’m doing more tests, but in the meantime I thought I’d shared my findings here in case others are experiencing similar problems.

can you provide me access so i can debug your site?

I updated plugin to v3.1.2 and imports now succeed.

I am testing from a different PC though, so I’m not sure until tomorrow whether this was a browser caching issue, or a result of v3.1.2 itself.

The load is running 3x slower than v3.0.5 did however.
Which is no good operationally – half the day would be over before we can get the daily price update in (and that’s with just 7,200 products – this will grow – a lot)

At the moment we don’t have an externally accessible test system for you to examine – I will look into this tomorrow.

This morning’s test shows that it was the update to v3.1.2 that fixed things for me (and not browser caching issues).

So that just leaves the 3x slowdown – which I’ll follow up on the speed thread which is already open.

I’m having this same problem now. Whenever I click Start to begin importing it just sends me back to the previous batches screen. I’ve also tried regenerating the header with no luck.

    Using version 3.1.3

can you check if your file size is not to big?

the development version has an error screen for it!

File size is 377 KB, I’m not getting any error messages or anything

I have exactly the same speed problems, after having the other mentioned problems. Very frustrating, very much looking forward to a fix.
