Thank you for this revision and fixes. It would be a great enhancement if the title retrieved could be inserted into the title field instead or in addition to the editor body. With my limited knowledge I experimented with including jQuery(“#title”).val() in the zurlplugin.js but have failed to come to a satisfactory solution. Would you kindly give some pointers in this regard or perhaps consider this as an enhancement in a future release?

The <head> <title> tag of the source page inserted into the “title” <h2> tag of the new post? Or the source page’s <h1> tag?

I can see how either could help, depending upon the source page, as I often put a variation of the source page’s h1 as the article title, but I’m not sure the editor is meant to do that. I will check to see if it’s possible though.

Even if it is I need to make it a configurable option.

This has been added in 1.4.5. It’s not configurable, but it checks to see if the title field is empty and only updates it if it is.

Genius! It works well – a great addition to the original code indeed – thank you.
