Problem with xml sitemap 404 error and submission

    Hi
    I am having problem with the creation of sitemap using Xml sitemap plugin. I am getting a 404 error on submitting a sitemap. I am getting 12, 404 errors. I have followed the steps to resolve 404 error using YOAST SEO guidelines but it is giving the same error.I also tried resubmitting the sitemap but it did not help.
    I have also tried the code to be added provided in the guideline. I had submitted sitemap_index.xml for my website.How can resolve this problem??

  • Had the same issue.

    I deactivated Yoast SEO and after I actived it again it regenerated my sitemaps.

    According the Google webmasters tool everything is fine now.
