Blurry Slider Images

  • Absolutely love this theme. We have one very annoying problem however. Whenever we make a post a “featured post” with a “featured image” the featured image in the slider is very blurry and nearly unrecognizable. I believe the slider is using a thumbnail version of the featured image rather than its full size. Is there a way to change this?

    I just saw this question.

    I suggest you go to the theme slider option and deselect this:

    Stretch Image to fit Slider. Don’t Stretch.

    That may help.

    That does not help. The slider is using a thumbnail image for all slider posts. When the “stretch” option is disabled. I small thumbnail appears. Its very discouraging that the developers will not comment on this. Safe to assume that development and support for this theme is no longer offered.

    Did you made certain the feature image you set is the size you want to display in the slider?

    I don’t think the theme will randomly select any image. At least not from my experience.

    I was browsing for help on another slider related problem and saw this question.

    I’ve found that it works best if you select the option not to stretch the image and choose images close to the size that your slider height is set at. For me, that happens to be 340px.
