    Hi,

The plugin appears to conflict with my theme (https://themeforest.net/item/sense-blog-magazine-news-theme/10434558). When I have both activated, the admin pages for both do not show up — I get the “white screen of death” instead.

Do you know why this might be happening, and do you have any suggestions or solutions?

If not, I’d like to temporarily deactivate the FG Joomla to WordPress plugin so I can change my theme options. But I don’t want to lose my place in the migration, and I’ll still need the URL redirects to work.

Will the plugin still pick up where it left off in the migration after I deactivate and reactivate it? And will the URL redirects still work?

    Thanks.

If you deactivate the plugin, it won’t delete anything.
But the redirects won’t work until you reactivate it.

Do you still have got the white screen after deactivating the plugin? If yes, it comes only from your theme, not from the plugin.

If not, could you send me your theme through https://www.fredericgilles.net/contact/ ?
I’ll try to find why there is a conflict.

Thanks for the reply. To be clear, if I deactivate and then reactivate the plugin, will it still “pick up where it left off” in the migration? That’s my primary concern.

Once I hear back from you, I’ll try deactivating the plugin and let you know if the white screen goes away.

Yes, even if you deactivate and then reactivate the plugin, it will resume the import where it left off.

Update: It looks like it was the Yoast SEO plugin, not the FG Joomla to WordPress one, that was in conflict with the theme I’m using. I now have the theme and the FGJ2W plugin activated, with Yoast deactivated, and the theme options panels are working fine.

    Thanks for your help.
