Expand/Toggle default PARENT Categories to OPEN?

  • Any chance you can add an option to EXPAND parent categories to OPEN?

    Right now, all KB articles are under subcategories, and can’t see any of them. The [+] is a good hint, although some of my users miss it ([OT] BTW, the [+] graphic is not very high quality though).

    It would help if the parent category defaulted to OPEN. Even better would be if there was an interface to default a category to OPEN, or default them ALL to OPEN.

    I think some users might prefer it closed and some might like it open by default… I’ll pop it on my ToDo list and try to add an option for that in the plugin settings in the future. Thanks for your suggestion.

    The option to have it open or closed by default will be very useful. I’d like to tack on another variation to that. The option to remove the toggle altogether, I love the hierarchy, and the open by default would be an improvement, but for my site the expand/collapse is too much activity and clutter.
