• I’ve created a register form adding all the details I need. I want to be able to link the ‘Submit’ button to my ‘Create Account’ API link, so that the registration details allow for an account to be created within my software

I’ve searched high and low to figure out how to do this but I’m at a loss. Can you please help?

By the way I’m really impressed with the plugin and form builder so far, just this final piece to get it working as needed.

    Hi RLightfoot,

which version of PlanSo Forms are you using?

In Pro Business we have included a dedicated registration feature so that you can set it up from within the backend.

Additionally all Pro versions of PlanSo Forms come with the possibility to use webhooks to send all submission data to one or more scripts to further process them.

The free version does not handle these things out of the box.

    Cheers

Hi thanks for the prompt reply. I’m using the free version at the moment. So if I upgrade to the Pro Business version for $89 I should be able to set up a registration link that directs that information straight to our Create Account area which will be perfect. Is that the case? Also is the $89 a one-off fee?

The $89 Business Edition comes with a dedicated registration option for WordPress. So if you would like to register your users as WordPress Users (you can assign a role of your choice) then this option is right for you.

If however you have a custom registration script, the Pro Personal ($29) version would be sufficient.

Yes, the prices are one-off and contain all updates for one year. You can keep all files for life but in order to receive updates after the year you would need to prolong your license for half the price of the initial license.

Thanks. I’ve purchased the Pro Personal version and I can see that I’m able to customise my forms a lot more which is great. However I’m not sure how I can add my customised registration script to the Submit button? The link I want to add is https://app.touchrightsoftware.com/api/createAccount. I’ve tried adding it to the URI field within the Button Design settings but it won’t save. How can I get this to work?

You can add the link to the Zapier-Webhook-Url field (in the pro tab) and all submitted data will be posted to your api script.

Thanks for this. Do I need to have a Zapier account for this to work? I’ve posted the link but it still isn’t working when I try to add a new test user.

Also one of the fields I’m adding to the form is a password field – is there anyway to mask the characters when a user adds their password?
