• I looked all over the forums and because my question is close to another I couldnt find my answer just the other one. anyway.
    If the post title is a h1 tag does that mean I should more or less never used a h1 tag when writing a article?
    Such as

    <h1>Article Title</h1>
    Featured image
    <content>
    <h1>We love Cheese</h1>
    <p>We love cheese so much woohoo</p>
    </content>

    Basicly when writing a post should we always start with h2 because out article title already took the h1

    That is correct. The <h1> tag should be used to describe the content of the page, then <h2> tags can be used for the subheadings. Yoast has a good article you may want to check out, “Headings and why you should use them.”

    Ya I read that. I actually know a bit about SEO and how to use H tags, thats why I was confused when all the articles that talked about seo for wordpress or just the internet always talk about the h 1-6 in articles but no one ever talks about how you will rarely ever use a h1 tag if you use something like wordpress or have your title tags use h1.
    I also noticed on my site the article titles h tags had a class of entry-title so I was thinking maybe that lowered the tag or somthing. I dunno thats why I asked I guess. thanks
