    Using PageBuilder 2.2.7

When a user registers and receives the confirmation email and clicks on the provided link, the user is confirmed (as shown Users > All Users > Email Confirmation), but cannot login.

This happens regardless of what landing page I set. It almost seems as though the user’s password is not getting set.

If the user goes through the “Forgot Password” process, they can successfully reset their password and log in.

    Please advise.

  • Hi,

Can you send me a link to your website to test out the registration/login form? Also can you deactivate all other plugins and use a default WordPress theme to see if there is a plugin/theme conflict?

    Best regards,

Unfortunately, I cannot disable any plugins on the site unless it is under scheduled maintenance.

I’ve setup a completely fresh site and it is working fine.

Should you want to see what it is currently doing, you can register at:

Here is a screenshot of all the plugins I use just in case there are known confilcts: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5074496/plugins.png

Once you’ve confirmed your email, you can attempt login by clicking on the Trader Chat link on the top right of the page.

    Hi,

I registered as user01 on your website but I didn’t find the Login page. Can you create it using the [wppb-login] shortcode?

Can you deactive these plugins: Custom Login Page Customizer, Email Users, W3 Total Cache, WP Access Control, WP Change Default From Email, WP User Avatar?

All the requested plugins are deactivated.

After deactivating the requested plugins, I was able to successfully register, confirm and login.

I activated each plugin one-by-one and found that there is some kind of incompatibility with W3 Total Cache.

Is there anyway to work around the conflict and keep both W3 Total Cache and Page Builder?

    Hi,

I am glad you found the conflict.

The developer team is away until January 4th 2016. I will forward this issue to them but an answer will be available only then.

No worries. I look forward to finding a resolution!

    Hi,
I have found a solution to this conflict between Profile Builder and W3 Total Cache. The problem was object caching, made on the users object by W3 Total Cache.

To fix this, you need to go to W3 Total Cache Settings, on the Object Cache tab. Then, you have remove users from Global Groups, and add it to Non-persistent groups.

    THANK YOU!

That worked beautifully! I really appreciate your support on this.
