Love, love, love Radcliffe and all of your themes.

I’m using Radcliffe for my guesthouse in Indonesia and I can’t get the captions to look like yours in the Radcliffe example. I like the shading and the size of the fonts that you have. So gorgeous!

Also, is it possible to get a caption to show up in the Featured Image on a Page. As of now, I can only get the caption to show up on Posts. You can view what I’ve done so far at https://www.genenut.com

Thanks so much for your help! Cheers : )

OK, been playing with this a lot and read all of the threads here. I know see that the blog titles show up in the image on the main blog page only. And, the captions for the Featured Images only work for blog posts, not pages.

So, I have a different question now. Can I have a static home page with the basic information about my guesthouse and then a Blog Page that has the beautiful images with the blog titles in the shaded part of the image?

Basically, I’d like a site with a Home Page (static), Blog, Room page (static), Contact page (static). Is this possible? Sorry, I’d edit my question above if possible. It’s now morphed into this question. Thanks for any and all help with this.

    Hi mauigirl,

You can choose a page to be displayed as the front page (and another as a blog page) on Settings > Reading in the WordPress admin panel.

Oh thanks so much Anders! I was stuck looking in Appearance – Customize. I’m thrilled that it’s going to work to have a static home page and a proper blog page. You’re my favorite designers and this theme is absolutely stunning!

    Happy Holidays!
