Random buddypress->extended profile->base->name generated

  • When only username and email are filled in during register, and buddypress extended accounts are enabled, the extended profile name field gets filled with a random name, e.g. “Leslie Mattingly.” (username was “test.”) Is it possible to set the buddypress base name to the same as username?

  • I think this is a modification you’d need follow up with BuddyPress support, I’m not sure it’s connected with this plugin.
