Canno access the User settings page
-
Just installed the latest version on WordPress 4.4 and when I click on the User Settings link in the menu it just loads all users details.
Clicking Email Users comes up with Individual or Group messages.
Sending to Users seems fine
Sending to Group seems fine
Clicking User Settings just loads all the users
Hope there is a solution?

I just ran through the various menus on a WordPress 4.4 site that has 100+ users and I don’t see any issues. The User Settings page operates the same way it always has.
Can you post a screen shot so I can see what your page looks like?
Hi, Thanks for your support. I deleted and re-installed, same problem. When I re-installed the Plugin stated it was untested with version 4.4
Cleared the Cache and deleted 7 days of History.
The page that opens when I click on settings is admin.php?page=mailusers-user-settings This opens a page with all the emails. I enclose the header
details.Clicking on Email Users shows the screen https://www.northampton-business-directory.com/emailusers/emailusers1.jpg The links in the right hand side “User Messages” and “Post Templates” do not work.
Clicking on Send to Users has the page with https://www.northampton-business-directory.com/emailusers/emailusers2.jpg
Clicking on Send to Groups has this info https://www.northampton-business-directory.com/emailusers/emailusers3.jpg
Hope this helps locate my problem.
Regards
DrachsiSorry forgot the first link it is it is showing the headers when clicking on the “User Settings” link.

Did you crop your images so you don’t see the rest of the WordPress Dashboard or is what is in your images all you see?
Other questions:
- What theme are you using?
- What other plugins do you have loaded?
- Have you tried temporarily disabling all other plugins except Email Users to see if the problems persist?
If I had to guess I suspect you’re dealing with a plugin conflict but I need more information to know for sure. As for the “tested up to” information, the last release of Email Users was prior to 4.4 coming out which is why you see the message you see. I have an update in the works which has some minor changes but it does not differ much at all in basic functionality from the version you’re using.
Hi,
The images were cropped so as not to show member information. The pages fully loaded.
I deactivated every Plugin except the *Email Users* same results
The Theme is called Advantage and is a business directory.
hope this helps because I would really love to use and pay for your PluginSeason’s Greetings

DrachsiClicking on Email Users shows the screen https://www.northampton-business-directory.com/emailusers/emailusers1.jpg The links in the right hand side “User Messages” and “Post Templates” do not work.
I went back and read through this thread again and see that the links in the right hand pane for Marvin Labs were not working. These links are not actually part of the plugin but I have fixed them in release 4.8.0 today. Today’s release also fixes the tested up to 4.4 issue.
Is there something else which isn’t working besides those links? It isn’t clear from your questions. Does the business directory theme make use of the standard WordPress user model or does it implement its own?
Hi,
When I click on the “User Settings” all I see are “Display Name” “Username” “E-Mail Address” “Notifications” “Mass Email” full of data from my DB.
There is nothing to set-up an email message.
As far as I know the link to Advantage above uses standard WP core.

DrachsiYour user settings page should look similar to this Screenshot.
The image you uploaded doesn’t look right. In fact, it looks like the page isn’t completing because not only do you not see any users, you don’t see the footer of the user list widget either. What would cause an incomplete page? A very large number of users might do so.
- How many users does your site have?
- What is your “User Settings Table Rows” value set to on the Email Users settings page (Dashboard > Settings > Email Users)?
I think you provided the clue.
If I go to “Settings/ Email Users I see the page “Email Users Settings”But I go to “Email Users” not under “Settings” but further down in the menu where other Plugins are listed then there is a “User Settings” link and that is the problem. If you click on the “User Settings” there you will see the problem

I don’t see the problem, it works fine on two of my sites plus my development environment. That is the challenge here. It is failing for you but not for me and from the picture you posted, it appears you have an incomplete page generated which likely means the WordPress user query timed out.
So back to the questions, I asked above. How many users does your site have and what value do you have the “User Settings Table Rows” field set to?
The other suggestion would be to temporarily switch your theme to one of the WordPress default themes (I like Twenty Ten but any of them will work) to eliminate a plugin between Email Users and your theme.
Conflicts between Emails Users and a theme don’t happen too often but it has happened before.
There are 92 users and tables set at 20
92 users is not a lot by any means. If you view the HTML page source for the Users Settings page (CTRL-U in most browsers will show the HTML source), does the bottom of the HTML source look like this?

Thank you for creating with WordPress.

Version 4.4

Session expired

Please log in again. The login page will open in a new window. You can log in again from this page or go to the login page.","interval":"180"};/* */

Did you try temporarily switching to another theme to see if the problem persists?
Hi,
If you mean the page wp-admin/options-general.php?page=mailusers-options-page the answer is no
If you mean wp-admin/admin.php?page=mailusers-user-settings the answer is no.
Could I send you the page codes privately?
Thanks for taking the time to help and support me.
Regards
DrachsiI am referring to this page: wp-admin/admin.php?page=mailusers-user-settings
