Can't see the shortcode generator button in page editor

I also have this problem after instalation on WP 4.4.

Any position and modal access on options work.

Is your tinymce row toggle open? Does your console show any javascript errors? Is your theme replacing the tinymce toolbar with a different system? Care to provide a screenshot?

Not sure about how to check for javascript errors, if it is not too labour intensive, would you mind quickly running me through it?

That’s the HTML editor. You need to be in Visual editor mode to see the TinyMCE toolbar. But I don’t see the tabs on the right for toggling between Text and Visual modes, so it appears a plugin or your theme is disabling the Visual Editor. That’s your problem.
