LeaderBoard Add-On

  • Hello there,

    So I have been working on getting my badge system setup and its really become quite enjoyable now that I understand it…

    I want to purchase the Leaderboard but I have a question. My setup is Multisite/Buddypress with just one domain… Buddypress & BadgeOS are activated sitewide and I have noticed that the points widget works sitewide perfectly (badges do not but they do display in the Activity widget)…does this mean that the leaderboard widget will work sitewide too? Following the logic, I am assuming that the leaderboard is just a fancier way of showcasing the point system?

    The other plugin I want is the Congrats Add-on..I feel it’s completely necessary..but I am sure that will only work on the main-site and not network wide? But perhaps there is someway maybe via another plugin I can send the user to main-site so they can see the pop-up.

    Well thank you for any light you can shed on these questions…I really do love this plugin its become something I know my community will enjoy!

    The Leaderboard will show users in the order they rank based on metrics you choose from the available ones. If I recall right, it’s “points” and then any achievement types you have set up.

    The leaderboards themselves are posts in a custom post type, so they’re not going to be network wide as a result. The data for the leaderboard is queried for and then stored as post meta data on the leaderboard post to help with performance via caching.
