    Hi qasimjoiya,

Please be more specific about the error. What error are you getting?

Oops! You can try updating now. I missed few things in last update. Fixed it now.

yes .. working fine now .. thnx joel for this awesome plugin

I’m having the exact same issue and it is preventing me from accessing the admin page to login and update on several of my websites that had this plugin installed. JJ, can you provide instructions on how to fix this when it’s preventing login asap? Thanks in advance.

    Hello seanhuze,

Please rename the 404 to 301 plugin folder to any other name using FTP r file manager. Plugin will be deactivated if you rename the folder. Then rename to the original name and you will get the update. Update the plugin to the latest version, then activate it.

Let me know if you find any difficulty doing this.

That worked perfectly. Thank you. I love this plugin. The only downside to that is that I installed it on 17 sites, so it took a little while to get them all back up & running. I have all my wordpress sites set to auto-update, but I guess whatever error occurred prevented wordpress.com from accessing them in order to do so. Any guidance on how to prevent that moving forward?

Thanks again for the quick response earlier btw.

    hello seanhuze,

Sorry for the inconvenience. It was a conflict with lower version of PHP. I had resolved the issue soon after the wrong update. But your website couldn’t update to the latest version automatically because the buggy version (2.1.0) update was active already.

Do not worry about this in future. I will make sure the update is compatible with all PHP versions before the release. ??
