    Hi,

Could you look for the restoration log? The first thing that UpdraftPlus does is open this log, so there should be some information there.

You can find this log in the wp-content/updraft directory of your site.

The best way to send the log is to copy it to an online service such as pastebin, then post the link here.

How do i know which one is the restoration log, there are about 10 different files for that day, I think we tried about 4 times to restore it and then our website host tried as well for us through our website and he failed to complete it to this was his reply email:

    Hello Sandra,

I have checked the logs and couldn’t find any issue which may cause to block the restore.
I would suggest you to contact the plugin developer they should able to pin point the exact issue.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Kind Regards,

at the moment your plug in is backing our website ok but it is not much good if we cannot restore it.

I spent all weekend manually restoring it as I was suppose to go live this week, but that is not going to happen now.

Any help to get this working would be appreciated, otherwise I will have to use other means to backup.
    thanks

    Hi,

Your FTP program should be able to show you the timestamp of the file – so, look for the one that has the same time as when you restored.

Failing that, just open them in your preferred text editor. They’re just plain text files. You can read the first few lines to see which is a restore log, and which is a backup log (and what time/date they’re from).
