Certain Files Not Being Found

  • After updating WordPress a strange bug has been occuring where certain files aren’t found. Not the posts, but the actual files,

    eg. When trying to update a theme file, I get my theme’s 404 error for “site.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php”

    Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

    then maybe you didnt upload all the files…. Perhaps you need to verify that you have. 2.3.x changed substantially from previous version, and there is atleast one extra directory of “stuff” that needs to be uploaded.

    Thanks for the reply, but everything is definitely there. I’ve even re-uploaded the whole site incase there were errors during the original upload.
