• I’m having the same issue. What I think happened is that when I was first prompted to enable Manage, I wasn’t logged into the proper WordPress account. So that somehow disabled Autoupdates and now, no matter what I do, I can’t figure out how to turn it back on.

    Here are a few URLs of my websites with this issue:

    https://Go2B2.com
    https://BambinosCafe.com

    and lots of others. Once you show me how to fix it for one, I can do it for all the others.

    Thanks for your help.

  • I have the same problem – some sites work, others don’t. You’re not alone but does anyone have a solution?

    Think I have fixed mine – found a stray line in a wp-config.php file:

    define( ‘AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED’, true );

    Initial searches for this failed because I was looking at the wp-config.php file for the wrong site!

    Hope this helps.

    Another thing to try that worked for me:
    1 Deactivate JetPack
    2 Remove JetPack
    3 Re-install

    AND/OR

    In JetPack Settings
    1 Deactivate JSON API and Manage modules
    2 Reactivate JSON API and Manage modules

    A combination of the above (not sure which) has solved my issue with one of my sites where the wp-config.php looked fine.
