• Hi. I’m on WP version 2.2 and use the plugin Subscribe2 version 3.8. Every time a new post is made, I get duplicate emails reporting that there’s been a new post. Back on WP 1.x, I got 2 emails, then later when I upgraded to WP 2.x, I got 3, but now I get FOUR! I haven’t changed the settings at all.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it? I’ve checked the official plugin website’s troubleshoot section but I didn’t find any solutions provided.

I hope someone has an answer to this, thanks!

  • GokuMew2,

You should get one email for each of the notification types and you may get more than one email if you’ve used the BCCLIMIT setting.

Sorry, I’m not sure what you mean.
What notification types are there? I have it set to Send Email as Digest: Per Post Email. I don’t even know where the BCCLIMIT setting is so that hasn’t been fiddled with.

    GokuMew2,

Sorry but are you using Digest OR per-psot? You comment isn’t clear, it’s one or the other.

If you are using per-post then the emails can go out as HTML, plain text excerpt or plain text full content – hence 3 emails to admin. It’s all in the ReadMe.

    Per post.

Ahhh~ I see. But my subscribers are only receiving one, correct? Thanks!

    GokuMew2,

Your subscribers certainly should only be getting one email per post that you make.
