Fatal error

    After updating a few plugins, including IQ Block Country, I lost access to my website’s front and backend. All pages appeared as just a blank page. I started removing plugins from the plugins folder and removing IQ Block Country resolved the problem.

    To be sure this plugin was the problem, I uploaded it again. When I tried to activate it however, I received the following error:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home4/pinkasph/public_html/wp-content/plugins/iq-block-country/libs/blockcountry-checks.php on line 68

    My other plugins are:
    – akismet
    – disable feeds
    – jetpack
    – regenerate thumbnails
    – star rating for reviews
    – tabs shortcake
    – zilla likes

    All plugins are up-to-date.

    Thank you for any suggestions on how to resolve this problem.

    Are you trying to activate v1.1.25 on WordPress 4.4?

    I suspect a little bit that you run WordPress 4.5alpha, could you verify this on your dashboard?

    It may say something like: WordPress 4.5-alpha-36008 running Twenty Sixteen theme.

    I cannot reproduce this yet ??

    I was using the beta plugin before but stopped using it a little while ago and am running 4.4 with the Holi theme.

    OK, I am really not sure what happened, but I decided to try activating the plugin again, and this time it worked! I haven’t changed anything since I posted here that it wasn’t working.
