Docs doesnt' work, timeout msg

Great plugin. I’ve been searching for hours on how to get Beacon working. And then I found this. Awesome.

Quick question.

I want to use the Modal option. I understand that I need a link. Where do I get this link from?

p.s. quick suggestion. would be awesome to have an option to choose which pages or posts to show the beacon when using the Popover option.

Thanks for your work on this plugin! Exactly what I’m after…

The send a message function works a charm. However similar to @fab4_33, when attempting to search docs, I’m getting the following timeout error message:

“Your search timed out. Please double-check your internet connection and try again.”

I’ve tried:

+ Adding my helpscoutdocs.com domain
+ Adding my custom domain (via CNAME, successfully synced with Help Scout)
+ Deactivating/deleting plugin and reinstalling.
+ Deleting beacon within Help Scout and creating a new beacon, with new Form ID
+ Viewing on different browsers (not sure if this would make a difference, but tried anyway)

No success. Any ideas? Would love a helping hand.
