Issue with command exec host -W

    Hello,
    My Server administrator wants to stop using command

    @exec('host -W '.escapeshellarg($timeout_secs).' '.escapeshellarg($ip), $output); // plan a

    which is located at line no 834 in file class-wo-view.php as due to this command server crashes and abrt is generated.
    Is there any option in admin panel to disable this command from being further executed. I think the plugin can work without executing this command.

    Your plugin is really good! No doubt! But its request from my host to stop executing host -W command.

    Hope we can really work out something without disabling your plugin so can i can keep using this awesome plugin!

  • Hi did you try to rem that line with //? That is probably the fastest solution for now. But at the same you also best test to make sure the plugin still functions correctly.

    I will also send a message to the developer.
