Legitimate user getting blocked. They have a wowway.com email that i think might be causing this. I tried unchecking the box with info below but when I save it stays checked. Anything I can do here? Anybody have the same issue?

    Protection options –>
Check against list of Ubiquity-Nobis and other Spam Server IPs
I have a list of hosting companies who tolerate spammers. They are the source of much Comment Spam and login attempts. This blocks many of them.

    thanks,
    Kurt

  • wowway.com is a ISP and hosting company that may have a site that is sending out spam. It may be blocked. You can white list wowway.com by adding wowway.com to the allow list.

Thank you for finding the Ubiquity servers bug. No one has ever wanted to unblock them before. They are a major source of spam.

I added the fix to the latest stable release at https://www.blogseye.com and you can download it there in order to get all the latest bug fixes.

    thanks,

Hi Keith, just to follow up, installing v6.13 did fix the ability to uncheck the Ubiquity-Nobis checkbox.

    thanks,
    Kurt
