• Hello everyone.

I installed WordPress on a new server and I get this error message on Settings > General:
“Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/”sitename”/public_html/wp-admin/includes/translation-install.php on line 59”.
I also get an error message when I go to Appearance > Themes > Add Themes (under the “Featured” tab):
“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

I tried to re-install WordPress but the error is still there.
I contacted my hosting provider but they told me to post on these forums.

Have you any idea on how I can fix this problem?

Note: I don’t have any problems on uploading themes or editing settings, there’s just this error text displayed on the pages.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Despite how it sounds, this typically means that openssl on your server is out of date, unless of course www.remarpro.com is actually offline. You’ll need to ask your hosting provider upgrade openssl on the server to the latest release (currently 1.0.2e).
