Video Post Type Bug from 4.4?

  • I was testing the video post format and under “Post Options”, I entered the embed code from a random Vimeo video just to test it out, however after I published it, nothing happen and I got a blank white space preview from the iframe embedded code, I went back to check on the post, interesting thing like this

    cant upload a screen shot but it looks like this:

    oEmbed (video) <iframe src= /*blank field instead of the code I inputed earlier in this field*/
    ” /> /*<–this symbol is even outside of the inputting field area*/

    Anyone know if there is any glitch here or something I am not doing correctly ?

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
