  • Localhost is every computer. You get the 404 because once you hit enter, your browser begins looking for the site on the computer you’re using (localhost) instead of the server.

    If you installed WordPress on your pi using ‘localhost’ in the WordPress addresses during installation, then it will only be accessible from the pi. If you assign the pi a static internal ip address, then use that address to install wordpress – https://192.168.x.x/wp-admin/install.php
    then you should be able to view the site on other machines from inside your own LAN.
