Sidebar Text Widgets All Disappeared
-
Holy crap. I just went to add some code to one of my text widgets, and upon saving they ALL disappeared. I’m really not all that happy about it. All my custom text, all my images, all my blogroll sites…gone. WTF? Is there any way to recover this?
The bottom of the sidebar now says:
Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/nosugref/public_html/weblog/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 533My widgets.php file doesn’t appear to have anything related to my text widgets in it. Would this stuff be located anywhere else?
BTW, this was the code I added:
<a href="https://www.ringsurf.com/netring?ring=chicagoblogs;id=1763;action=prev" title="previous" onmouseover="window.status='previous';return true" style="text-decoration: none" target="_top">?</a> <a href="https://www.ringsurf.com/netring?ring=chicagoblogs;action=home" title="chicago blogs" onmouseover="window.status='chicago blogs';return true" style="text-decoration: none" target="_top">chicago blogs</a> <a href="https://www.ringsurf.com/netring?ring=chicagoblogs;id=1763;action=next" title="next" onmouseover="window.status='next';return true" style="text-decoration: none" target="_top">?</a>
And that seemed to cause this fatal error. It was an admittedly very full text widget, so could that have messed things up? It was also using Safari, which tends not to play very nicely with WordPress.
Any help or suggestions would be amazing at this point.
